Basic Info BioWhat to say. My name's Ailsa. I'm a student nurse in Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Loving it so far but the course is a bitch!! None of these easy arts degrees for me!!
Hobbies: I do ballet and Greek Dance and love them both though I'm definitely not brilliant at either of them. I read, I'll read almost anything! I love DVDs and adore special features on them. I have considered buying a DVD just for the special features! Fave TV programmes are the CSI franchise though not Miami, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis though not liking SG-1 since Jack left. Love comedy programmes but especially British comedy like Little Britain, Catherine Tate, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder- the classics!
Fave films are Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings- the big epic-y films that make you feel good. I like rom-coms though i have to be in the right mood!
My favourite music are soundtracks and classical music though I love all sorts of music really. My zen has the weirdest selection of music I've ever seen in my life including Eminem, Robbie Williams, Bach, John Williams, 70s, 80s, 90s classics and ballet music. The only music I can't warm to is R&B and even then I like that in small doses. I can't stand David Grey or dirges like his stuff but apart from that I'm easy to please. Oh, I don't like Beyonce for reasons I can't quite put my finger on, she irritates me no end!
As you can see from my communities, I'm a huge fan of fan fic. I can't write for beans despite what my English teacher told me in school but I do enjoy reading them! Favourite is Slash but I do enjoy the RPS. Got into that first with Lord of the Rings(Orlando/anybody!) and never looked back! SG Atlantis, SG-1, Pirates and Harry Potter are my slash fandoms of choice.
